The practice of mindfulness has been life changing for Carol. “Mindfulness and meditation have grounded me and transformed my world in an extremely positive way.” As a result Carol has a great desire to share the tools to help you make the most of your life, even when experiencing stress, pain and illness.
Carol garnered these tools through the experience of Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBI), namely MBSR and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy). After several years of practice, she embarked on the path to teacher certification in MBSR through the University of California San Diego (UCSD). This training is based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn.
